There is the basic facial which includes cleansing, massage, steam, and toning.

The paraffin facial includes all of the above, but also a paraffin facial mask for deeper tissue penetration. This deeper penetration is especially beneficial for problem skin, as well as facial neuralgia and sinus pain.

 

Other paraffin treatments can be done on the hands along with a manicure, and the feet with a pedicure. A FeatherTouch paraffin treatment on the hands consists of dipping the hands several times in the warm combination of paraffin and aromatherapeutic essential oils, and wrapping them until cool. This is especially beneficial not only for deeply conditioning the skin, but for arthritis pain, carpal tunnel, or any other hand injury. After peeling away the layers of paraffin, reflexology is then done on the hands. So along with giving a healthier appearance to the hands and nails, this treatment also improves the condition of the client's overall health as well! Elbows and feet may also be paraffin dipped for various health reasons, including tendonitis, arthritis, and other painful conditions. At the same time the skin of these areas is intensively moisturized.

Lastly, and for obvious reasons the favorite, is the face-lift facial. What makes this facial different from the others is the massage technique involved, and the essential oils used--not to mention the fact that there are no scalpels, lasers, stitching, bruising, or pain involved! And despite those missing factors, a series of scheduled facials will absolutely result in the appearance of a face-lift, without the pain, without the down-time, and certainly without the high cost! A single face-lift facial will result in a years-younger appearance, though not as permanent as the results of a series of four to six facial treatments.
