Although many of us don’t consciously
recognize or acknowledge that we even have a specific life “path and purpose”, our subconscious knows what we are here to do. It therefore reaches out
to us, sending messages through our dreams, intuitions, and innermost longings. Often,
until we recognize and live in accordance with our underlying purpose, our lives may feel like puzzles with missing pieces.
Numerology is founded on the principle that the Universe works according to laws as real as the law of gravity. The numerological system provides specific laws keyed to each life path to help us
transform our health, our relationships, our work, and every other aspect of our lives.
The authenticity of universal law does not require any kind of belief—gravity works whether we believe
in it or not. Whether we feel that these laws are handed down from a Creator
or that they simply reflect the mechanics of the universe, they have the power to change our lives.
The need to clarify the life purpose may date
as far back as the Pythagorean school
of ancient Greece. Pythagoras is best known as a mathematician, one of the founders of geometry. He embraced
many facets of human consciousness
in the same way today’s physicist now enters areas left once to mystics, philosophers, and theologians. He spoke of cycles, patterns, and waves of energy
that existed long before the dawn of humanity, and of how our life paths reflect great and eternal laws.
By exploring the fundamentals of form and frequency, he discovered relationships between mind and matter where
before no such order had appeared to exist, and he pointed to hidden numerical patterns that served as keys for unlocking
secrets of our psyches.
For very obvious reasons, many numerologists point to Pythagoras as the source of their systems of analysis. There have been other systems of numerical analysis, but the bottom line is that every
one of us was born at some hour, on some day, in some month of some year, according to any calendar in any climate or country. The numbers as they exist in the complete date have some life in themselves, and contribute
to a person’s changing condition of life from year to year.
